You can prevent respondents from selecting multiple options that begin at the same time, or have overlapping times. When you allow respondents to select multiple options, enable the 'Don't allow selections with time conflicts' option. This REQUIRES enabling the 'Assign dates/times to options' setting and setting times/dates for each option. Setting a duration in the time/date option attribute is optional but will allow you to prevent selections that overlap.

1
Start on the Edit page of your form.
2
After you enable 'Allow multiple selections', you will have an option to prevent selections with time conflicts. This option will ONLY be available once you have assigned dates/times to 2 or more options (see below).
3
In Advanced Settings, enable 'Assign dates/times to options'.
4
Configure the dates, times, and durations (optional) for your options. Duration will allow you to prevent multiple responses with overlapping times even if they do not have the same start time. You can also use 'Analyze Options for Dates/Times' (see step above) if you have enough context in the form for AI to propose dates/times/durations.
5
Save your form once you have configured all of your settings.
6
When respondents view your form, if they select option(s) that have time conflicts with other options, those conflicting options cannot be selected and will show visual feedback indicating they are not selectable.
