Why do I see my own name and email in my form while testing it?

When you test your own form, your browser may automatically fill in your name or email to “help” you submit it faster. This does NOT mean the form will collect or show that same information for everyone else.

1

Any pre-filled information is coming from your browser, not your form. Other people will see empty fields. If you want to see the form exactly how others will see it: 1) Open the form in an Incognito / Private window 2) Try it in a different browser or device You’ll see that the fields are blank.

2

If you have recently taken a form, your browser may pre-fill information from your last response.

3

Other respondents will NOT see any prefilled information, they will see a blank form. Open your form in an incognito window to view a form that does not use saved information from your own browser settings.
